I spoke with a nice gentleman who pulled up my usage history on a computer screen . He verified that our household usage was in fact lower and that my bill did go up in spite of the lower usage . He attributed these increases to the fact that Navopache purchases electricity from New Mexico and that they have experienced a rate increase that has now been passed on to us consumers . He said that before the rate hike we were paying about 9 + cents per kilo watt hour , now , after the rate hike that cost to the consumer is about 14 cents per kwh . That's a heafty increase all at once . He agreed and went on to explain how it has been 10 years since Navopache has had a rate increase . His reasoning made sense , yet I still feel that the unwanted installation of those so-called Smart Meters is also a contributing factor behind these sudden and drastic increases in our electric bills . I have done some research on these Smart Meters and I don't like anything that I have discovered about them . Then again , Navopache Electric is just a little spoke in a big wheel and the Federal Govervmnent is determined to put these things everywhere electric power is dispensed . It is my feeling that Navopache bent under pressure from the Federal level ( i.e. the UN ) and started installing those meters be they wanted or not ,christianlouboutinpascherrains, and we consumers are being handed the bill for these in a clandestine fashion .
