Of Passion and peroxisomes
Hardly few days before, I was completely frustrated with my stagnant Life which seemed to move nowhere. (maybe moving backwards only), then something happened miraculously (really) and now I am here in a completely different world!
I am Vishal Kalel, from a small city in India named Walchandnagar, 120km away from the mainstream Indian cities like Pune and Mumbai. The reason being proud of my city is Seth Walchand Hirachand, the forgotten bastion of India's pioneering entrepreneurial endeavors which started more than 100 years ago. Though the city is quiet small http://www.casquedrdrefr.com, the educational and cultural atmosphere was at par with big Indian cities. 10 years back toms shoes nyc, in 1999, I had to decide the direction my career http://www.tresorparisuk2013.com. As compared with many of my classmates tresor paris, I had the rarest opportunity to pursue whatever I wanted to do tresor paris sale.
My father had sowed the seeds of curiosity and creativity in my mind since childhood. When people were busy in counting the gold and estate, we used to get bunches of magazines, newspapers and library subscriptions. In school when parents(at least in India tiffany!) are more cared about their pupil's (numerous) private tuitions and text-books ranting, I got to become the first and youngest person to join newly started computer training centre in the city monster beats pas cher. He also trained me to do different side-jobs like selling materials going door by door or money collection for local savings bank. Though I used to hate it when I was young (especially when my friends flaunted their new clothes or shoes!), now I feel it was very critical in shaping my life monster beats.
I decided to go for Biology in higher secondary school, in India this is a turning point for career and life. Here people still consider career means being either an engineer or doctor, But I decided that I want to do biotechnology! Biotechnology was very much in news at that time and It seemed creative and lucrative field to me lululemon. Next turning point was joining College. As usual, Here also I had complete freedom for choosing tom shoes for kids. I joined a College in Pune known for its peaceful atmosphere. I was fortunate to have one friend, Rhishikesh (PhD student at IGIB, New Delhi tresor paris belly bar, India) whose company was very pivotal in shaping my decision to go for basic research rather than applied streams like biotechnology. Solely for the love of biology, after serious thinking, I decided to do Bachelors with chemistry and Masters in Biochemistry. The reason being, chemists and biochemists can actually be better biologists!
I was very good at exams, especially those with multiple choice questions! I cleared all three coveted exams in India named NET, SET and GATE in first attempt, before even clearing my Masters degree. And here started the real problem casque audio beats! I joined for PhD. and why did I start doing PhD?? Because I had a fellowship from Indian government in my hand. I didn't even knew what, when, where and why I really want to do PhD tresor paris uk! I didn't had any passion for the work I was doing. Coupled with my laziness and absence of any pressure to perform, I became kind of Non-Performing Asset!
Then couple of things happened and I got a chance to be on completely new and better track. I discontinued PhD in India and joined a peroxisome research group at Ruhr-University Bochum in Germany. Here I got what I wanted, a dedicated place to work (spacious and well lit!), a diverse group of students to share ideas and questions, lot of freedom as well as (little) pressure to perform and a stimulating vibrant atmosphere http://www.ergocarrieronline.com. Above all I got Passion for a specific topic, Peroxisomes! This multifaceted organelle now haunts me even in dreams and I can keep reading, writing and thinking about it all the time.
Free and continuous accessibility to high speed internet is yet another factor which provided me with ample material to read and wider scope to write (on my numerous short lived blogs!). But now I have become a stable blogger!
"Peroxisome Research" is my blog dedicated for analysing and updating the knowledge about peroxisomes toms shoes. And this is my another blog "GeeK of Science" on Nature Blogs. Here I will be posting -
