Reebok says that the shoes activate your lower body muscles when you walk creating natural instability which in turn tones your legs. A study from the University of Delaware said that the shoes increased muscle activity in the glutes by 28%, the hamstrings by 11% and the calves by 11%

How do they do this? Well there are two strategically placed balance pods on the bottoms of the shoe

In regards to how much I feel the shoes give me an "unplanned workout," I'm still on the fence. When I go up stairs, I do notice that I'm more tired when I reach the top however when I'm just walking
