All of the tastes I sampled were delicious in their own right; however, as I was working my way around the gustatory pleasures at the , there were, indeed, several which electrified my taste buds and made my tummy very, very happy.
So, here are my "Top 10 Tastes" picks:
I tapped into my inner Brit when I tasted a banger sausage in puff pastry from the Lion Rose British Restaurant and Pub. There are five Lion Rose locations in San Antonio; however, this delicious concoction can be found locally at , 8211 Agora Parkway.
The plump, pork sausage was hot and juicy and the pastry was light chan luu wrap bracelet, fluffy and browned to perfection. With a dollop of mustard on the side, it was a definitive British bite which made me want another one casque beats. and to name it as my No. 10 taste http://www.hermebelt.com.
Next, I took a trip down south to try pork carnitas from , 14540 Forum Parkway in Selma. My No. 9 taste was flavorful, tender and wellseasoned; the pork was topped with a zesty corn relish, fresh guacamole and shredded Monterrey jack cheese on a warm casque monster, flour tortilla. The portion was a large one, and I regretted not being able to savor it in its entirety. This dish would have made a meal in itself.
And then, what Texas girl couldn't like baby back ribs from Texas Roadhouse, 13830 North I35 in Live Oak? Literally falloffthebone delicious, the pork ribs were so good I couldn't help lick my fingers to get every last bit of crunchy, chargrilled goodness with a seasoning zing that lit up my taste buds. Babyback ribs, Texas Roadhouse style, were my No. 8 taste.
My carnivorous side was showing, I guess, because my No. 7 taste was another meat. This time it was a baconwrapped chicken appetizer from , 12900 Mt. Olympus in Universal City. Yes, Olympia Hills is a golf course lululemon outlet, but it's also home to a holeinone winning taste: the bacon was prepared in a way which paired the spiciness of the chicken with a chewy, salty goodness. I thought about calling a mulligan so I could have another one, but there were more booths to explore.
After all that meat, it was time to lighten things up a bit, and I found the perfect combination for my No. 6 taste: Broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl with a side of Greek salad casque beats, from Panera Bread Catering windows 7 product key, 8235 Agora Parkway, suite 115 in Live Oak. Even though there was no way I could finish the soulwarming soup and bread ヴィトン, I longed to linger over the salad: a wonderful concoction which could be a lunch portion any day of the week with Romaine lettuce, vineripened tomatoes, feta cheese, pepperoncini, red onions monster beats, Kalamata olives, pepper and a Greek dressing.
Five down, five to go: so how about another appetizer?
I found the perfect one from Encanto Mexican Grill, 6032 FM 3009, suite 100 in Schertz: Homemade guacamole and white sauce on tortilla chips. My No. 5 taste was a cilantroinfused explosion, but so light and refreshing that I forgot I'm not gasp a fan of cilantro. Let me tell you, this was one good guac.
If cilantro charms you, you will think you're in tortilla chip heaven. For my No. 4 taste, I also chose a cilantroflavored concoction that was so refreshing, light and cool, I thought I had been transported to a cabana on a beach with a nice breeze blowing off the ocean. La Cabana de el , 170 Buffalo Place in Cibolo, offered ceviche: fresh, raw, white fish marinated in a citrus juice on a tostado. Flavorful and zesty, the fish was delicately prepared, topped with wedge of lime and a perfect slice of avocado. Just right for No. 4.
And now, drum roll, please time for my top three tastes.
Henry's Roadhouse Caf, 13010 I35 North, prepared my No. 3 taste, which whetted my appetite for more from this neat restaurant: a Cuban sandwich, which consisted of sliced pork loin roast, which is seasoned and roasted inhouse, said chef .
The sandwich also features ham, Swiss cheese, pickles, mayonnaise on one side of the bread, mustard on the other, and seasoning on a wide French loaf. And, then, the most important part: The bread is brushed with real butter and grilled on a Panini grill. The neat thing about Henry's Roadhouse Caf is that it is located inside the showroom of Jordan Ford and is named for , the founder of the company, so you can get a Cuban sandwich with a side order of a new F350 pickup, if you like vanessa bruno sac.
For my No. 2 choice, nothing could be finer than to be in Carolina or at the very least, RoMo's Caf, 7627 Culebra Road suite 107, for some hickorysmoked Carolina pork barbecue on sourdough bread, drizzled with a dazzling mustard sauce. This is where I will definitely take my husband sacs vanessa bruno, a Charlotteborn boy, for a true taste of the Tarheel State. I make Carolina pork barbecue at home for my hubby when he gets homesick, but once he tries this, he will be converted to this delicious concoction from RoMo's http://www.ergocarrieronline.com. Gotta try it!
And now, for my "Top Taste lululemon athletica," the numero uno, the best of the best: I heard jazz inside my head as I took my first bite of rice gumbo from Pappy G's Country Kitchen, 1210 Pat Booker Road in Universal City, which touts itself as the "best new soul food restaurant this side of heaven."
With the simplicity of a Saltine cracker as a side, the gumbo was dished up by himself, a military retiree who admitted he is not from the , but from "New Joisey." Nonetheless, the gumbo his momma's recipe is a true New Orleans delight which feeds the stomach and fuels the soul.
And, then, if that wasn't enough tiffany blue nike shoes, Pappy G. handed me a portion of his sweet potato pie for dessert which truly was one the best things I have ever tasted and, like a sunset on the High Plains, remains in my memory as a sweet note to end a spectacular night of tastes lululemon.Related:
